What a wonderful, fun-filled, loving and exciting time this year of Avalanche Ranch has been for all the participants and leaders!  God has certainly been in our midst as we have shared and learned that God is Real, God is With Us, God is Strong, God is Awesome and for this last one God is in Charge!

                                           

We have made new friends.  We have fellowshipped with old friends.  We have prayed.  We have worshipped.  We have sung some fantastic songs.  All of a sudden and all too soon, we are at the end of Avalanche Ranch.

 

An enormous and heartfelt "Thank You" goes to our heroes, Ivonne Flores, Chris Marin and their team.  The months of hard work and love as they prepared for Avalanche Ranch have given each of us a wonderful time together. The leaders all pulled in one direction and for that reason, the children of God have been blessed.

 

It is heart-warming to see those smiling and angelic faces as they sing "You are my All in All", "This is the Day", and all the other songs that Jim Robinson shared with them You know they must have enjoyed the singing.  Several of them have been witnessed just walking the halls and singing these tunes.

 

 Whatever your role in support of Avalanche Ranch, we say thank you.  It would not have been possible to touch so many hearts young and old had each of you not played a part in the preparation, planning and implementation of Avalanche Ranch.

 

 We will all remember that:

  •  God is Real - “The Lord is the only true God” (Jeremiah 10:10)
  • God is with Us - “For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9)
  • God is Strong - “The Lord is my strength” (Psalm 118:14)
  • God is Awesome - “For the Lord Most High is awesome” (Psalm 47:2)

God is In Charge - “If you love me, obey my commandments” (John 14:15)                                                                            

   So there you have it.  Our first Children’s Church series is part of the history of our church.  The memories may fade with time, but God will not forget the wonderful time we all shared as we praised his glorious name.

Finally, a big nod of the head, an even bigger handshake and an enormous hug to all of those that visited with us during this time of praise, worship and learning.  Please come and share your presence with us again at VBS July 25-29.  We have something going on every week of the year.  Our lives would be much more blessed and fulfilled with you among.

God be with you ya’ll.
